Congratulations to Robert Schaeffer on his decision/committment to attend school and play soccer at Rockhurst University!
Tonight’s practice is cancelled, due to the weather and the closing of the Dome. We will plan to have regular practice on Thursday, at the Dome at 4:00 – 5:15 as previously scheduled. Everyone please try to make it since it will be our last practice before this weekend’s tournament.
Also, for those of you who need to finish paperwork and/or sign the roster, I will be in touch with you individually before Thursday.
Finally, we will be in close contact with the Showcase of the South representative in regard to the weather and travel conditions. I heard this morning that Friday is supposed to be “warm,” way above freezing, so we should be good to go. If anything changes, we will be in touch.
Practice tomorrow will be held indoor at the dome from 4:45 – 6:15.
Congratulations to Brett Murray who made his verbal committment to Coach Bilbao this week to play soccer next year for Drury University. Way to go Brett!
All players and parents are invited to the SpringHigh annual organization/paperwork meeting of the teams on Thursday, December 4, on the Drury Campus in the classroom down the hall from Coach Bilbao’s office. The U-17 team will meet from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m., and the U-18/19 team will follow from 7:00 – 7:30 p.m. If you cannot attend, please let Rick Temple know so the paperwork can be forwarded to you.
We are in the process of finalizing our team rosters, and the details for the 2009 Spring season. We will be having two teams, a U-17 team coached by Ryan Swan and a U-18/19 team coached by Alf Bilbao. We plan to announce the team rosters, practice days and times, and the date and time for our team meetings, early next week. We will be in touch on this website and by e-mail. Thanks.
