We are in the process of finalizing our team rosters, and the details for the 2009 Spring season. We will be having two teams, a U-17 team coached by Ryan Swan and a U-18/19 team coached by Alf Bilbao. We plan to announce the team rosters, practice days and times, and the date and time for our team meetings, early next week. We will be in touch on this website and by e-mail. Thanks.

Coach Bilbao has been watching the weather, and has decided to cancel tonight’s practices. We try to use a standard of around 40 degrees to be outside. Tonight at training time, it is forecasted to be 32-34 degrees, and a wintry mix. Hopefully this will be the last of the snow and sleet, and we get back to Spring temperatures starting next week.

Congratulations to the U-19 team who advanced to the Finals in the tournament this past weekend. After a one-hour delay in start time, a 15-minute lightning delay just before the kickoff, and wind and rain, the championship game was ended because of lightning shortly after starting the second half, with our team down 0-2. However, a second place finish was just fine, in that we were finally able to get on the road home, ahead of the storms.
Congratulations also to the U-16 and U-17 teams for great play for our first tournament together.
