To all SpringHigh Players and Parents:

•  Meet the Coaches Meeting / Practice T-Shirts

We were hoping to schedule a “meet the coaches” meeting sometime this month.  However, Drury is now concluding finals, and Coaches Swan and Fulmer are/have left town for the Christmas holiday.  So, we will schedule that meeting in early January when they return.

Because I want all of the players to have their practice t-shirts for the first practice on January 8, please e-mail me the size of t-shirt your son wants for his practice t-shirt.  That includes all new players, and players who are on a different team this year because of age.  One shirt is included in your dues.  If you want a second one, please send me $8.00.  Also, for the new players on the team, our practice uniform is as follows:                                   

Appropriate color t-shirt for your team (U-19 Black; U-17 White; U-16 Royal Blue); White shorts; and White socks.

Thanks for following this uniform policy.  It really helps Coach Bilbao with the teams, and also looks nice and professional.

• Meeting with Coach Bilbao re: college play

For any players interested in playing “at the next level” (in college), Coach Bilbao has offered to meet with the players and parents to discuss the process, with recommendations and ideas.  The meeting is primarily for Juniors and Seniors, but Coach welcomes any SpringHigh player and/or parent to attend.  We are scheduling the meeting for next Wednesday evening, December 19, 8:00 – 9:00 p.m., at the classroom down the hall from Coach Bilbao’s office at Drury.  For those of you who attend church on Wednesday, I am sorry it ended up on a Wednesday evening, but there is a BB game at Drury on Tuesday which would have prevented us from using the room.   However, we made the meeting later in the evening to try to accommodate your schedule.

• Commitment Form and Dues

If you have not sent me your completed Commitment form and January dues, please do so ASAP.  If we have discussed a scholarship, just send the Commitment form.
